1958 Indonesia 5 Rupiah Batik Worker Vintage Banknote UNC Small Currency

A charming little piece of vintage currency from Indonesia's 1958 "Worker" Series: the 5 Rupiah note featuring a woman carefully applying wax to cloth, capturing the traditional batik-making process on the obverse, a beautiful nod to one of Indonesia's most treasured cultural crafts. The reverse showcases a classic Indonesian house set among tropical foliage. The note carries a water buffalo watermark and was printed by Pertjetakan Kebajoran.

Measuring just 135 x 65 mm, this note is notably smaller than most Indonesian banknotes, a fun, compact collectible that's easy to display or slip into a keepsake album, and a great starter piece for anyone new to banknote collecting or antique currency.

Condition: UNC (Uncirculated)
This note is brand new and has never been in circulation, no folds, no wear, no signs of handling whatsoever. Minor fine foxing may occasionally appear simply due to its age, but the note remains crisp and pristine overall.
