1961 Indonesia 2.5 Rupiah "Farming Scene" Note — Republik Indonesia, PMG 67 EPQ

An odd little denomination with a lot of charm, this piece of vintage paper money depicts a farming scene on the front, with figures working the land, and a simple corn-and-plant motif on the reverse. It's a note that gets overlooked next to the bigger, flashier denominations from the same era, but the design has a quiet, honest appeal that a lot of collectors have come to appreciate — and it works just as well as understated vintage decor for a collector's shelf.

PMG 67 EPQ Superb Gem Uncirculated is a top-tier grade: pristine paper, perfect embossing, no handling whatsoever. Even with a healthy population at this grade, a 67 EPQ is still firmly in the upper tier for the type.
