A distinguished piece of vintage paper money from Indonesia's 1980 banknote series: the 1000 Rupiah note featuring a dignified portrait of Dr. Soetomo, the pioneering physician and founder of Budi Utomo, widely regarded as Indonesia's first modern nationalist organization, a fitting tribute to one of the country's key figures in the early independence movement. The reverse showcases a breathtaking mountain landscape of the Sianok Valley in West Sumatra, rendered in soft blue tones. The note carries a Sultan Hasanuddin watermark and was printed by PERUM PERCETAKAN UANG RI IMP.

Measuring 147 x 72 mm, this rare collectible holds real historical significance for collectors interested in Indonesia's nationalist history and early 20th-century figures. It makes a genuinely unique gift for any history buff, collector, dad, or history-loving friend in your life.
