A striking piece from Indonesia's 1958 "Worker" Series: the 5000 Rupiah note featuring a warm, evocative depiction of a woman holding rice on the obverse, a fitting tribute to Indonesia's agricultural workers and rice-farming heritage. The reverse showcases a beautiful terrace rice field landscape, capturing the timeless beauty of Indonesia's countryside. The note features a buffalo watermark and was printed by PT. Pertjetakan Kebajoran Imp.

This particular piece is the green-brown color variant, this denomination was issued in two color varieties, green-brown and purple, making it a great addition for collectors looking to complete both.
