10 Gulden 1946 — De Javasche Bank Federal Series (Green Variant) | Netherlands Indies Currency

This 1946 Federal Series 10 Gulden note is genuinely scarce and rarely turns up in nice surviving condition after nearly 80 years. This is the green color variant of the note, a detail collectors of this series specifically look out for.

Paper remains nice, firm, and stiff, and the color still shows well. Faint fold marks and creasing from genuine period circulation, with fine foxing and light spotting from age. No holes. Minor flaw: only a very minor tear at the center of the top and bottom edge from an old, long-set fold.

Option 2 — Serial Number KE 022798 — Grade: VF (Very Fine)
Paper remains nice and thick, and the color still shows well. Fold marks and creasing from circulation, with foxing and spotting from age and handling. No holes. Minor flaw: a slightly blunted corner at the top right.

Option 3 — Serial Number FFB 033961 — Grade: F+ (Fine Plus)
Paper remains nice and stiff, and the color still shows well. Fold marks and creasing from circulation, with foxing and staining from age and handling. Minor flaws: one pinhole near the center, and a minor tear at the top-center and bottom-center margin/edge.

Option 4 — Serial Number GQ 078908 — Grade: F- (Fine Minus)
Paper remains fairly nice, and the color is a little faded but still shows fairly well. Fold marks and creasing from circulation, with foxing and soiling from age and handling. No holes. Minor flaws: minor nicks/tears on the top and bottom margin/edge.
