The front features Jan Pieterszoon Coen, the Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies, in full period costume. The reverse carries the Dutch royal coat of arms with the "Je Maintiendrai" motto banner. No watermark on this type. Note size: 128 x 75mm.

Serial CV 165851: VF (Very Fine):
Paper still solid and thick, fully intact with no holes or tears. A firm diagonal fold crease plus ordinary creasing from past circulation. Faint foxing/staining consistent with the note's age.
Serial AC 156476: VF- (Very Fine Minus):
Paper still solid, no holes or tears. Ordinary fold marks and creasing from circulation, with faint foxing/staining from age. The only flaw is a minor repair at the top-center back, visible in photos.
Serial CC 160853: F (Fine):
Paper still solid, no holes or tears, with trimmed top and right margins for a cleaner presentation. Ordinary fold marks and creasing from circulation, plus foxing/staining from age and handling.
Serial BL 199646: F- (Fine Minus):
Paper decent but slightly wavy, with a faint pinhole from an old fold and minor edge nicking on the top margin. Foxing/staining from age and handling, plus light trimming around all four margins.
